Leah Evert, RD
Leah Evert is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist. With a passion for preventive health, she has over 15 years’ experience in nutrition, fitness, and wellness and has worked with a variety of clients including those in corporate offices, individuals, and families. She currently works as the Director of Global Associate Wellbeing at Marriott International, overseeing wellness programming for more than 730,000 people worldwide. Prior to her work at Marriott, she served as Senior Director at Wellness Corporate Solutions where she worked as a seminar leader, speaker, and employee health and wellness consultant for such companies as Hilton, ExxonMobil, and Johns Hopkins Healthcare.
Additionally, she served for eight years in the United States Army Reserve where she engaged in four humanitarian missions bringing healthcare to low-income communities across the United States, receiving five Army Commendation Medals for her service. She also worked as a sports and wellness dietitian for the United States Air Force and held a private practice in nutrition and fitness counseling where she provided counseling for weight loss, sports nutrition, and family health.
Leah holds an MBA from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a focus in consumer behavior. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Sports Nutrition & Exercise Science and a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Leah is a former division-one softball player, an avid tennis player, hiker and downhill skier. She enjoys spending weekends being active in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.
