Gina Fishman

Gina Fishman is a mother of seven children ranging in age from 10 to 25. A certified group fitness instructor with decades of formal dance training, she has taught adults, teens and young girls.

She received her fitness certification from the Women's Club in Jerusalem, Israel and has taught high- and low-impact aerobics, step, toning and interval training in a variety of venues.

Gina has been writing professionally since 2011, specializing in fitness, recreation and dance. She has written hundreds of fitness and lifestyle articles for popular online publications, including Livestrong, Chron, AZ Central and Healthfully. Her work has also appeared at The Nest and its sister site The Bump, an online magazine that offers expert advice to parents and parents-to-be.

Gina has researched dozens of fitness programs, fads, trampolines, and rebounders and created online content for a number of fitness chains, including Orangetheory and Retro Fitness.

More than 40 years after her first ballet class, she still struggles with pirouettes.
