Rachel Fink

Rachel Fink is a mom of 7 kids who uses her experience as a parent and her knowledge as an engineer to help readers select products for maximum safety and usability.

She is also our expert of finding great deals, a skill she has acquired by being a parent for over 20 years.

Rachel has a B.ASc. from the University of Toronto in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She uses that knowledge to understand and explain car seat safety to parents, and to review car seats and other products for safety and usability.

Rachel is also the founder of Parenting Pod. She started the site as a way to promote family mental health and wellbeing. In the past, Rachel had struggled in the past with issues such as postpartum depressions, eating disorders, and ADHD. When searching for solutions online, she found that most resources where either difficult for a regular parent to understand and relate to, or were not provided by reliable experts. Parenting Pod changes all that by offering easy to understand information written by experienced and licensed practitioners.
